😀Wellbeing Week😀
Wow! What a wonderful wellbeing week we’ve had. It was packed with activities designed to promote mental, physical and emotional health.
Mindful Monday started the week with some mindfulness colouring while listening to mindfulness music and some GoNoodle movement breaks also.
Thankful Tuesday focused on gratitude creating “gratitude cups”.
Wellness Wednesday focused on healthy eating and the food pyramid. We also went outside on a dingbat hunt and this was really great fun to do. The sunny weather also added to our enjoyment.
Thoughtful Thursday focused on random acts of kindness and giving each other compliments to make us feel good about ourselves.
Fundraiser Friday became an “Anything but a School Bag Day!” as well as a non-uniform day. We had some very interesting alternatives to school bags including suitcases, fancy handbags, a cool deck chair, a dolls bunk bed, a fish tank, a pillow case, a bean bag, a pram, a picnic basket, a shoebox and many more. We also did some buddy learning where we got to make friendship bracelets.
During the week each class had to design a wellbeing poster and our winners were Louis Grimes and Caimin Dolan.
There was a very positive atmosphere across all classes all week.
