New Quiet Space
While the school was closed for the Hallowe’en Midterm Break, we took the opportunity to carry out some additional works at the school. We installed a new Quiet Space in our modular building. This new space is a designated area designed to reduce noise and distractions. The calm and peaceful environment will hopefully help our pupils to relax and reregulate. Crinion Sensory met with school management in early October for a design visit. The materials, colours and measurements were all finalised at this meeting with the installation date set for when the school was closed. We hope that our pupils benefit from this resource for years to come.
General Purpose (G.P.) Room
With the school closed we availed of the opportunity to put the finishing touches to the General Purpose Room. Crinion Sensory installed our new radiator covers which we think really add to the room. The G.P. Room has undergone a serious refurbishment to the amount of almost €28,000 since August with the following:
- New floor
- New dividing wall
- Radiator covers
