STEMtacular 2026
This year, Ms Brennan’s 5th Class, Mr McCormack’s Special Class and Ms Gallagher’s Special Class proudly represented our school at STEMTACULAR 2026, which took place over two exciting days in Ballinamore. Our school attended on Thursday, 26 February 2026.
Over the past number of weeks, the pupils dedicated tremendous effort, creativity and teamwork to developing their projects. Their hard work truly paid off when they confidently presented to the judges on the day.

Each project tackled real-life challenges through curiosity, critical thinking and innovation. The students demonstrated not only strong STEM knowledge, but also collaboration, communication and problem-solving skills.
We are incredibly proud of how confidently and professionally all of our pupils presented their work. The experience has undoubtedly sparked curiosity, strengthened self-belief and created lasting memories.
A sincere word of thanks to Louise Gallagher and the entire team behind STEMTACULAR for organising such a fantastic local event for schools. Events like this provide invaluable opportunities for our pupils to shine outside the classroom. As Indiana Jones said, “If you want to be become a good archaeologist, you gotta get out of the library.”
I would like to thank the teachers and SNAs who worked so diligently behind the scenes to make the occasion possible.
