Senior Infants’ theme for the month of January was Space. In History, the children learned about Neil Armstrong and his journey to the moon. In Art, they created their own 3D spaceships.
During Science, they made rockets and explored how to make them move by blowing through a straw, discovering that the harder they blew, the further the rocket travelled.
Senior Infants also engaged in play-based activities on the theme of space, creating their own aliens while also exploring the sun, moon, stars, and the wider solar system.
