Senior Infants had a wonderful time exploring and experimenting during Science Week!
The children used our STEAM kits to build all kinds of creative structures. We watched gummy bears grow bigger when we left them in sugar water and plain water. We made raisins “dance” in fizzy water and loved watching them move up and down.
We placed Skittles in a circle and added water.The colours from the skittles spread to create a colourful rainbow.🌈
We created a lava lamp using oil, water, food colouring and Alka-Seltzer. We rubbed a balloon on our hair and watched how the static electricity made pepper stick to the balloon, while the salt stayed on the plate.🎈
