Safe Routes to School (SRTS)

The National Transport Authority (NTA) has published its Active Travel Investment Grant allocations for 2026, confirming continued investment in walking, cycling and wheeling infrastructure nationwide.

This includes a range of Safe Routes to School (SRTS) projects, which are identified by the SRTS code in the official allocations. The allocations support local authorities to deliver projects from design and options development through to construction and implementation phases, in line with the NTA’s Project Approval Guidelines.

Scoil Mhuire Naofa are delighted to receive €20,000 in funding under STRS R4.
