Primary School Survey
Primary School Survey - Help shape the future of your child’s primary school
The Department of Education and Youth launched a survey on the patronage of Primary schools on Tuesday, 4th November 2025. The results of this survey of parents, prospective parents, staff and Board members will inform the future divesting of primary schools.
It is important that there is maximum participation in this survey, those with strong views on the matter and those who may be happy with the current situation so as to ensure that the findings will be accurate. Therefore, as principal I encourage you to promote participation in this survey.
The survey will close on 16th December 2025. It’s quick, easy, and confidential.
This survey is for parents and guardians of children in primary school or who will enter primary school in the coming years. There is a separate survey for primary school staff and board of management members.
Parents and guardians – you will need your Eircode to do the survey.
