County Fleadh Comes to Carrigallen! πΌπΆ
We are delighted to congratulate all of our wonderful students who recently took part in the County Fleadh in Carrigallen hosted by Ceol Álainn CCE. Their hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm truly shone through in every performance.
We had participants in banjo, whiste, mandolin, bouzouki and accordian. Students also participated in group music and busking competitions showing incredible confidence and talent. Taking part in an event like this is a big achievement, and we are so proud of each and every child who represented our school.
We would also like to extend our sincere congratulations the organising committee from Ceol Álainn CCE for organising a truly wonderful weekend of activities where every level of ability was welcomed and encouraged. The event was thoughtfully planned, well organised, and created a warm and encouraging atmosphere for all involved.
Opportunities like this are so important for young performers, and it is clear that a great deal of time, care, and dedication went into making the weekend such a success. Our students thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were inspired by the high standard of performances. Thank you for providing such a fantastic platform for our children to showcase their talents.
Due to their excellent results, some of our pupils have now qualified to progress to the Connacht Fleadh in July to compete in their various categories. We wish them the very best of luck going forward.
Well done, everyone! π΅
