The run-up to Christmas was a very busy and exciting time in 6th class.
We went on a trip to the cinema and to the theatre, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Christmas pyjama and jumper days brought great fun and lots of colour to our classroom. The children also created wonderful projects exploring how Christmas is celebrated in different countries around the world.
During buddy learning, the class worked with their younger buddies to design and create beautiful Christmas cards. Back in our own classroom, we had lots of fun taking part in games and festive challenges. Finally, we relaxed together with a cup of hot chocolate while watching a Christmas movie.
By the time the holidays arrived, we were truly in the festive spirit!
