We are running our biannual Cash for Clobber collection in conjunction with Cookstown Textile Recyclers. Our collection date is 26 November 2025, and the school will be open to accept bags of Cash for Clobber from Friday, 21 November 2025.
Items accepted include clean clothes, paired shoes, belts, ties, handbags, hats, and soft toys.
Items not accepted include duvets, bedding, pillows, cushions, rugs, and mats.
Cookstown Textile Recyclers (CTR) have been investing back into schools and the community, and they are an important link in the recycling chain. A key element of the Cash for Clobber scheme is educating young people and the wider community on the importance of waste reduction and resource efficiency.
CTR’s Cash for Clobber schools’ recycling scheme sponsors Eco-Schools’ Waste Topic. The joint programme is an international initiative designed to encourage action for the environment and raise much-needed funds for schools.
