Bees might be small, but they make a big impact on our environment. Without bees, we wouldn’t be able to grow our own fruit and vegetables, and Ireland’s wildflowers would soon vanish. Today, one-third of bee species are at risk of disappearing from Ireland.
We have been learning what bees are, why they are so important and what we can do to help. We wrote some buzzing facts, made a bubble wrap beehive in art and we worked together to make a bee hotel!
