In our school, we actively encourage children to share and celebrate their achievements outside of school, recognising that success takes many forms. Everyone is given an opportunity to talk about accomplishments such as sporting achievements, participation in clubs, music performances, community involvement, and personal milestones. Children are invited to bring in medals, certificates, trophies, artwork, or photographs to share with their classmates. Celebrating these achievements helps to build self-esteem, confidence and a sense of belonging. It also develops an awareness and curiosity about interests and hobbies outside of their own.
