Senior Infants have been learning all about 3D shapes through fun, hands-on activities. We made our own 3D shapes using a range of different materials. We sorted shapes into those that roll and those that do not roll. We also investigated the 2D faces of 3D shapes by printing them into Play-Doh and made towers using 3D shapes.
We really enjoyed exploring shapes through play and discovering how 3D shapes are used in the world around us.
