In September, we focused on the body outside as part of our science lessons. We learned that optical illusions trick our brain!! To end our learning, we did some Op Art. When we were finished, we looked at the artwork and tried to describe what we saw. The following were our thoughts:
“It looks like you’re able to go to into it”
”It looks 3D”
”It looks like you’re falling into a hole”
”It looks like something that never ends”
”Going inwards”
”Some parts are pushing inwards and some are pushing outwards”
”It looks like it is moving”
It really is amazing how patterns and colours can create optical illusions!
